Pendleton School has accepted the challenge from the National Wildlife Federation to increase both energy efficiency and testing scores for students, redesigning the school grounds and reclaiming the landscape as an outdoor classroom. We are excited to have our garden become a resource for instruction. We are working towards earning a Bronze Award which requires our students to do an environmental study to measure the impact this project will have on our school. Pendleton School has already received a Bronze Award from the NWF for our recycling program and we're so proud of the work our 6th grade students and teachers are doing to earn another award!
